Bob Shea是屢獲殊榮的作家，也是最受讀者喜愛的兒童圖書的插圖畫家。他的作品包括廣受歡迎的《Ballet Cat》系列、《The Dinosaur VS》系列、大受歡迎的《Unicorn Thinks He’s Pretty Great》，以及《Who Wet My Pants?》。作者曾與喜劇中心（Comedy Central）合作，又是美國公共廣播公司（PBS）兒童頻道標誌的設計者，並為迪士尼遊戲屋（Playhouse Disney）設計了一個直播角色。此外，夢工廠（Dreamworks）正在將他的一本書改編成電視劇。目前，作者是視覺藝術學院視覺敘事研究生專案的導師。
