Emma Clarke is a children’s author and illustrator based in the south west of Scotland. Emma has an English degree and over ten years teaching English, Drama and Art. Emma began illustrating during the pandemic. Emma’s work is heavily influenced by her love of nature, memories from childhood and the world around her. When Emma’s not teaching in school, reading to her own two children, or busy working on stories, she can be found puffing and panting up hills whilst her dog looks back at her pityingly.
